NJ Man Arrested By SWAT After Shots Fired: Prosecutor
A 20-year-old Lower Township man was arrested and charged after firing gunshots, authorities announced Friday, Sept. 4.
At 10:37 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, officers responded to the Mulligan Sports Complex in Villas and found multiple gunshots, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Lower Township Police Chief Donald Vanaman said.
No one was struck by bullets, authorities said.

A Pennsylvania trucker transporting horses for slaughter in Canada has been arrested in New York, police said.
Robert M. Seitz, of Lewistown, PA, was pulled over around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 on U.S. Route 11 south of De Kalb, NY, according to state police. Inside his trailer, troopers found multiple horses “tagged for transport to Canada for slaughter,” investigators said.

A 30-year-old Manlius, New York man pleaded guilty to killing a man during a robbery in Atlantic City, authorities announced Thursday, Sept. 3.
