$1M 'Living Shoreline' Grant To Improve Environment, Coastal Resilience In Jersey Shore Borough A marina in Avalon will soon feature a $1 million “living shoreline,” combining nature and innovation to protect the Jersey Shore, officials said. A $1 million grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will fund the creation of a "living shoreline" at Avalon’s Bay Park Marina.
