Noise Complaint Turns To Chokehold At Hotel Off Routes 80, 46, Police Say
A complaint about noisy hotel guests ended with a man being put in a chokehold inside his room and an attempt to delete video of the assault, police in North Jersey said.
Adriane Santana, 34, and Yilari Quiros-Valverde, 29, were charged following an investigation into the April 13 incident at the Ramada by Wyndham in Fairfield, located between Routes 80 and 46, police said.
Officers responded to the hotel around 8:57 a.m. and met with a man who said he had gotten into a verbal dispute with other guests after complaining about noise in the hallway, according to police. Santana app…
