'Supicious Death': Woman Found Dead In Champions Park In PA, Police Say A woman was found dead in a park in Philadelphia, police announced on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024. Philadelphia Police were called to the 900 block of Tustin Avenue in the 7th District at 3:37 p.m. Officers found the unidentified woman at the scene. She was pronounced dead by the Philadelphia Fire Department's Medic Unit at 8:33 p.m. The scene is being held, and the woman's body will be taken to the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Philadelphia Police.

Dog Left In American Inn Hotel Room For 36 Hours By PA Teen: Police A Middlesex Township woman has been charged with animal neglect after her dog was found abandoned in a hotel room for more than 36 hours without food and minimal water, police announced on November 6, 2024.  Ashley Douglas, 18, was identified as the owner and is accused of leaving the dog in the room at the American Inn hotel. Police investigated and confirmed the neglect before making contact with Douglas, who was charged with neglect of an animal.  Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for a future date.
