NYC Tour Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing Along Palisades, Police Say A tour helicopter carrying the pilot and six passengers made a safe emergency landing in the parking lot of the Englewood Marina after experiencing mechanical failure mid-flight on Tuesday, Dec. 17, police said. Hawthorne Man Sentenced In Deadly Assault After Shooting A Passaic County man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a deadly assault in Paterson that authorities said happened just after a shooting. Tyheem Jones, 40, was sentenced on Tuesday, Dec. 17, by Judge Joseph A. Portelli after being found guilty of aggravated manslaughter, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said. Prepubescent Child Porn Found On Hackensack Man's Internet History: Prosecutor A 48-year-old Hackensack man has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said. A search at Jonathan J. Gavin's home on Monday, Dec. 16 found that Gavin used the Internet to view, download, and possess items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Gavin was arrested and charged with third-degree possession of child pornography and was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
