Tesla Driver Suffering Medical Emergency Cuts Across Holmdel Roadway Hitting Car, Building: PD Two drivers were injured Saturday morning, Sept. 21, when one, who had been suffering a medical emergency, cut across a Monmouth County roadway and struck another vehicle and an Italian grocer, police said. According to a Facebook post from Holmdel police, the Tesla was heading east on Main Street when it crossed the center line and struck a Honda Accord heading west around 10:30 a.m. "The Tesla continued across the westbound lane and struck the building at 37 Main St.," police said. CNN News Anchor From NJ Announces Husband's Death In Heartbreaking Post Alisyn Camerota, A CNN anchor from Fairfield County, CT and with New Jersey roots is mourning the loss of her husband, she announced in a heartbreaking post on social media. Camerota, who was born in Shrewsbury, NJ said on Friday, Sept. 20 on Instagram that her husband, Tim Lewis, died on July 27, 2024 — two years after being diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Lewis' obituary on the Harding Funeral Home website says that he and Camerota live in Westport, CT. Missing Clifton Woman Found Safe A missing woman from Clifton was found unharmed Saturday evening, Sept. 21, after being recognized by a Good Samaritan, police said. DUI Driver Kills Motorcyclist In Passaic, Prosecutor Says A 32-year-old Bergen County man has been charged in a deadly crash that happened Friday, Sept. 20 in Passaic County, authorities said. Johnny Aguilar, of Carlstadt, was operating a Ford Excursion when he struck a 59-year-old motorcyclist at the intersection of Paulison Avenue and Pennington Avenue, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Driver Crawls Out Of Overturned Car Following Norwood Crash: Police A 54-year-old Hillsdale resident was largely unscathed after his vehicle overturned in Norwood on Thursday, Sept. 19, police said. The driver was heading south on Summit Street when the vehicle struck a parked car and overturned around 8:10 p.m., Norwood Police Chief Christian Federici said.
