Gotti Grandson Lands In Lockup After Mom’s Kidney Transplant Drama
John Gotti’s COVID fraudster grandson has finally reported to prison, after delaying his report date for nearly half a year, authorities said.
Carmine G. Agnello, 40, of Oyster Bay, NY, is being held in federal prison in Fairton, NJ, according to Bureau of Prisons records.
Agnello was sentenced to 15 months behind bars in April 2026. He pleaded guilty to stealing $1.1 million in federal COVID relief funds and spending the money on cryptocurrency investments.

Drunk Driver With Prior DUIs Charged In Deadly Route 22 Hit-Run: Prosecutor
A 35-year-old drunk driver with a history of DUIs and careless driving offenses ran a red light on Route 22 in Mountainside, struck and killed a 65-year-old bicyclist, then continued driving for three miles before police found him, authorities and court records show.
Fabian Parra, of North Plainfield, was charged Monday, Aug. 10, with second-degree vehicular homicide and second-degree leaving the scene of a fatal crash in the death of Rocco Della Serra, 65, of Cranford, Union County Prosecutor William A. Green Card Marriage Ring: 11 New Yorkers Charged In 1,000+ Sham Wedding Scheme, Feds Say
Eleven New Yorkers have been charged in an alleged international immigration fraud scheme that arranged more than 1,000 sham marriages and collected tens of millions of dollars, federal prosecutors said.
The defendants were arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 12, after a two-count federal indictment was unsealed, according to the US Department of Justice. The network operated for more than a decade and arranged sham marriages between foreign nationals, primarily citizens of China, and US citizens to fraudulently obtain immigration status, prosecutors allege.

Cocaine, Cash: Two Arrested In Mercer County, Prosecutor Says
Two people were arrested and charged following a two-month investigation into the distribution of cocaine in Mercer County, authorities announced Wednesday, Aug. 12.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force along with other law enforcement units executed a search warrant at Andrew Anderson's residence in Eastampton, a storage unit in Lawrence and two vehicles, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey said.
