South Jersey firefighter Robert "Bobby" Reider died on Friday, July 10, about two weeks after he was involved in a car crash while responding to a fire, the Malaga Fire Company said. Reider was 23 years old.

David Maldonado-Ocelotl, 28, was swimming with friends off East 21st Street in Ship Bottom when four people were caught in a rip current at approximately 2:28 p.m. on Friday, June 5, according to the Ship Bottom Police Department. Grey Dimenna, the former president of Monmouth University, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday, March 26, the university confirmed.
At 3:44 p.m., Grey Dimenna was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on County Road 519 in Hunterdon County when he collided with a Dodge pickup truck, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
