The community is rallying to help a family from Camden County whose apartment was heavily damaged by smoke from a fire, according to authorities. Olivia Cafaro of Blackwood is organizing a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of the Pierce family, of the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township. On Wednesday, July 3, at approximately 1 a.m., Gloucester Township police were dispatched to 32 N. Black Horse Pike in Blackwood for a structure fire, Daily Voice reported. Firefighters Injured At Trucking Company Fire In South Jersey (

Firefighters from multiple departments In Camden County battled a trucking company fire on Friday, July 5, authorities said. At approximately 3:30 p.m., Gloucester Township police observed heavy smoke at Marksmen Transport, 1900 Erial Road in Blackwood, they said. Officers located flames in the rear lot of the commercial business which were contained to several large box trailers and a truck, police said. There were no injuries to any employees of the business, however, three firefighters were taken to local hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.&…

A jury has convicted a 76-year-old Pennsauken man for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl about six years ago, authorities said.
