Former Willingboro Mayor Gets Prison For Mortgage Fraud: Feds
Nathaniel Anderson, the former mayor of Willingboro was sentenced to a year in prison on Monday, June 1, after being convicted of mortgage fraud, authorities announced.
Anderson currently serves as a town councilman in Willingboro. Chrisone Anderson, his business associated, was sentenced to eight months home confinement for her role in the scheme, U.S. Attorney Robert Frazier said. The Andersons must also pay $221,987 in restitution.
For more than two years, the Andersons orchestrated a fraudulent short sale of a property in Willingboro from Nathaniel to Chrisone, Frazier said.
