Police ID Motorcyclist, 59, Killed In Atlantic County Crash
Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in an Atlantic County crash this weekend as a 59-year-old man. Joseph Stetser, of Absecon, was ejected from his 2006 Harley Davidson after hitting a guardrail on East Moss Mill Road near Sander Place around 12:15 a.m. Sunday, June 23 in Galloway, local police said. Stetser had been traveling westbound on East Moss Mill Road when he struck the guardrail just west of the intersection of Sander Place. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Newly-released bodycam footage shows La'Quetta Small, the wife of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Jr. and superintendent of the city's school system, caught parking in a handicapped spot at a Home Depot store without proper registration. Records show Small was issued a ticket for handicapped parking on May 31, 2024 in Absecon, even though officers at the scene appear to let her off with a warning in bodycam footage shared to Facebook. Atlantic City Man Indicted In Teen Pedestrian's Hit-And-Run Death
An Atlantic City man was indicted in the death of a teen pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash in Absecon, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 52-year-old Everette Williams on Tuesday, June 4, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. His indictment was for second-degree leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident which resulted in death.
