Matthew Dickman Of Carlstadt Dies, 24
Matthew James Dickman of Carlstadt died at home surrounded by his family on Aug. 17. He was 24 years old.
A graduate of Henry P. Becton Regional High School, Matthew was an avid New York Mets fan and enjoyed golfing, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, William Beatty, Joan Dickman and Robert Dickman, Sr.

Bergen/Passaic Pot Source Smashed, 50 Pounds Of Weed Seized, Two Busted
A series of raids in Bergen and Passaic counties turned up more than 50 pounds of pot for sale, four dozen THC cartridges and $55,000 in drug money, said authorities who arrested two men – one from Wood-Ridge and the other from Passaic.
After receiving large shipments of marijuana, Christian Delossantos, 27, of Wood-Ridge, and 26-year-old Ricky Colon, Jr. of Passaic, weighed, packaged and prepared it for sale, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.

Fair Lawn Police Captain Cracks Months-Old Cell Tower Battery Thefts
FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Thanks to a Fair Lawn police captain, one of two CVS shoplifters caught in the act was also charged with swiping four cellphone tower batteries several months ago, authorities said.
Hawthorne couple Michael Wright, 41, and Nicole Paletta, 36 -were carrying nearly $50 worth of items taken from the River Road pharmacy when police arrested them a short time later.
Paletta was released pending a court hearing.
Wright, however, was held, after Capt. Joseph Dawicki identified him as the burglar who took the batteries from a Saddle River Road tower last Dec. 19.

Prosecutor: Hackensack Penthouse Raid Finds Steroids, LSD, Date-Rape Drug
HACKENSACK, N.J. – A raid on a Hackensack penthouse produced an assortment of drugs – including anabolic steroids, LSD and mushrooms – and an arrest, authorities said Thursday.
Ryan W. Rohlfs also had the date-rape drug Ketamine, as well as hash oil and marijuana in his Prospect Avenue apartment when it was raided last week, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.
“A handgun and drug paraphernalia also were seized during the search,” he said.
Knowing authorities were searching for him, Rohlfs turned himself in at the prosecutor’s Paramus office on Tuesday, Calo said.
