Riot
: Oath Keeper Becomes First To Plead Guilty, Sentence Depends On Cooperation
One hundred days after the riot at the U.S. Capitol, a lifetime member of the Oath Keepers who plays in a metal band admitted Friday that he breached the building in a tactical vest and armed with bear repellent. Rather than face trial, Jon Schaffer, 53, of Columbus, Indiana, took a deal from the government, pleading guilty unlawfully entering the Capitol to obstruct Congress’ certification of the U.S. presidential election results. People rallied across Philadelphia making pushing to have every vote counted. Gov. Tom Wolf acknowledged the process is slower than usual -- but that mean…

Pennsylvania Holds Critical Remaining Votes -- And Winner Appears To Be Biden
As the world waited for an outcome in the U.S. presidential election. Pennsylvania joined two other states in counting final votes critical for victory. With 20 electoral votes, Pennsylvania -- along with Wisconsin and Michigan -- now hold the key to winning the White House. While Trump is leading by nearly 700,000 votes in the Keystone State, there are approximately 1.4 million outstanding absentee votes, The Times reports. If the former vice president carries the remaining …

Biden Takes NJ, Booker Wins 2nd Full Senate Term
New Jersey will remain a blue state: Joe Biden claimed the Garden State's 14 electoral votes in his bid for the White House, according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. President Trump's personal physician said he could fulfill his duties as president "without disruption" while quarantined, following the announcement early Friday that he and First Lady Melania Trump both tested positive for COVID-19. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately,” the president tweeted shortly before 1 a.m., following a visit to a private fundraiser at his golf course in Somerset County. “We will get through this TOGETHER!” It takes up to six days for symptoms such as fever, a cough and breathing trouble to emerge from the respiratory virus that’s killed m…
