Pinto, who officially becomes chief this Saturday, was waiting on line at the borough post office Thursday when he saw one of the suspects buy a $1,000 money order with an apparent gift card. Officers responding to the Chase Bank on North Washington Avenue Thursday afternoon arrested 21-year-old Yaseen Salih, who also tried to use a debit card in someone else’s name, Detective Lt.
