A 54-year-old man was sentenced to time in New Jersey State Prison for using a fake gun to rob his former employer, McDonald's during what he said was a "practical joke" while out on bail for another robbery, authorities announced. Linden Man Sexually Assaulted Boy, 2 Girls, Woman: Prosecutor
A 35-year-old Linden man was ordered detained pending pending disposition after his arrest for sexually assaulting a boy, two girls and a woman, authorities announced. An investigation into Johan A. Osorno began last month, when the Linden Police Department notified he sexually assaulted the two children, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel said. Man Charged In Deadly Union County Stabbing
A 52-year-old man has been charged in a deadly Plainfield stabbing, authorities said. Marcelo Ixcuna-Castro killed Jose Maria Ixcuna-Chach, 37, on the 500 block of W Front Street around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 28, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and Plainfield Police Director James T. Abney said. It was not clear how the two were related. A Plainfield man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman during a home invasion earlier this week in Westfield, authorities said. A teen boy was shot dead in his hometown of Elizabeth Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
