A crash on Route 78 resulted in serious injuries and a traffic diversion early in the morning on Friday, Oct. 7, state police said. The crash, which involved serious injuries, occurred in the eastbound lanes near milepost 24.8 in Tewksbury just before 6:10 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told DailyVoice.com. Traffic was being diverted from the area for the investigation as of 10 a.m., Curry said. A serious crash caused multiple injuries and shut down several lanes on Route 287 in Morris County, developing reports say. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes near milepost 41.7 in Parsippany shortly before 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. Two adults and a child suffered serious injuries, the initial report says. State Police and two ambulances were called to the scene. A pair of disabled tractor trailers backed up two major North Jersey highways Tuesday evening. The jackknifed trailer and fuel spill in on the northbound side of Route 287 happened when the truck struck a pillar to the overpass around 7 p.m., near milepost 42.1. Overturned Tractor Trailer In Hardwick Backs Up Route 80 Westbound
All lanes were shut on Route 80 westbound after a tractor trailer overturned in Hardwick near the Worthington State Park exit Friday evening. Fire destroyed a tractor-trailer and the bread loaves that it was carrying on southbound Route 95 in Teaneck, witnesses said Thursday afternoon. No injuries were reported.Traffic on both the local and express lanes was backed up -- in part, by rubberneckers.
