Eight people were hospitalized including one with a serious head injury in a four-car crash on Route 46 in Bergen County Tuesday, Oct. 29. A grey Toyota Corolla that was turning left onto Liberty Street from Route 46 west in Little Ferry was struck by a white Ford van heading east on Route 46 just before 5 p.m., Police Chief Jim Walters said. A 58-year-old New Jersey attorney and lobbyist was killed in Nashville, TN on Saturday, Oct. 19 after he was struck by a vehicle, authorities said. Ahmed Bouda, 29 has been charged after authorities said he struck and killed Corey Claybrook around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 on the 600 block of Springfield Avenue then fled the scene, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Morris County Man Struck, Killed By Car In West Milford
A 73-year-old man was struck and killed by a car early Tuesday, Sept. 10 in West Milford, authorities said. Mod A. Khader, of Lincoln Park, was trying to cross Route 23 south when he was struck by a vehicle around 6 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes West Milford Police Chief James DeVore said.
