Tesla Causes Evacuation Of American Dream Mall (Update) Police have provided an update in the evacuation of the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford Tuesday evening, Oct. 8. Just after 5:30 p.m., American Dream security saw a Tesla legally parked on the ground level of the C parking deck with the driver’s side door left open and unattended, New Jersey State Police Sgt. The eastbound side was closed as of 5 p.m., with Newark police's helicopter apparently called to the scene. Have photos?
