TikTokers On 'Kitchen Nightmares' Close Bergen County Italian Spot
More than a year after revamping their restaurant Bergen County on "Kitchen Nightmares," a family of TikTokers has decided to close up shop. Da Mimmo was opened by retired Hoboken detective Vito Gigante Sr., his wife Melissa, and their son Antonio. Antonio and his brothers, Vincent and Vito, rose to fame on TikTok. The restaurant opened in November 2022 and was on "Kitchen Nightmares" with Gordon Ramsey in 2023. PD: Paterson Man In High-Profile Kidnapping Busted With 505 Heroin Folds Outside Route 46 Motel
A Paterson man awaiting trial in a high-profile Bergen County kidnapping was caught at a Route 46 motel with more than 500 heroin folds and two bags of cocaine, authorities said. Wayne police detectives were conducting a joint drug investigation with investigators from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office when they spotted Ishimeer H. Prosecutor: Clifton Man Tried To Get Kidnap Victim To Drop Charges Against Instagram Influencer
A Clifton businessman tried to bribe a kidnapping victim into dropping charges against Bergen County-based Instagram influencer “Jay Mazini,” authorities charged. Bassam Patrick Aljanadi, 56, “contacted the victim and his family on numerous occasions,” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Thursday afternoon. Aljanadi, who owns a heating and air conditioning company, offered the victim cash in exchange for dropping kidnapping charges filed against Jebara Igbara, the prosecutor said.
