Knife-Wielding Tenant, 70, Jailed For Threatening Neighbor: Secaucus PD
A 70-year-old Secaucus resident was jailed after police said he threatened his downstairs neighbor with a kitchen knife. It was an hour or so before noon on New Year’s Day when officers responded to the 800 block of 7th Street after a noise complaint escalated, Police Chief Dennis Miller said. They arrested Mario Robiolio and charged him with making terroristic threats, simple assault by menace and illegal weapons possession, then sent him to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny.

Group Of Kids Threw Rocks At Man's Car Before He Was Stabbed 2X At NJ Mall Parking Garage: Cops
A 56-year-old man was stabbed twice after a group of juveniles threw rocks and other objects at his car at a Hudson County mall, authorities said. Police said only that the man suffered two puncture wounds, one to his lower abdomen and another to the upper left side of his stomach, around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in a parking garage at Newport Centre in Jersey City. NJ Cop Airlifted In Fall From Tree Stand Suffers Broken Spine
Support is on the rise for a Morris County officer who suffered a spinal injury in a fall from a tree stand, those who know him say. Mark Ehrenburg, a police sergeant in Kinnelon, was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in Blairstown on Friday, Nov. 24. Ehrenburg suffered from a broken spine and broken vertebrae and underwent surgery. He faces a lengthy rehab though doctors are optimistic he will walk again, his family said. Palisades Park Officer Struck By Passing Vehicle Recovering From Broken Bones
A Palisades Park police officer suffered a cracked clavicle and several broken ribs when a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Elmwood Park resident struck him as he responded to another crash, responders said. The officer was struck by a passing 2024 Honda CRV at 5th Street and East Brinkerhoff Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, Lt. George Beck said. A Rochelle Park Board of Education member who's running for a seat on the Township Committee was busted for DWI earlier this month, police records show. Officers responding to a call found a Toyota SUV with a green light idling in a left-turn lane on Railroad Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. Oct. 7, according to a report filed by one of them. Jorge A. A man leapt to his death from the balcony of a building in Newark Tuesday, Sept. 5, officials said. Police responding to the intersection of Center Street and Park Place on a call of a sick or injured person found the unresponsive man around 5:25 p.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. He had jumped from a building’s balcony across from New Jersey Performing Arts Center and pronounced dead at 5:48 p.m. The incident remains under investigation. No further information is available.

A Fair Lawn motorist was hospitalized following a Tuesday morning crash in Glen Rock, authorities said. The 38-year-old woman was driving a 2023 Toyota Camry that collided with a 2021 Chevy Tahoe driven by a 43-year-old Glen Rock woman at the intersection of Hillman Avenue and Woodvale Road near Prospect Street shortly before 10 a.m. Aug. 15, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.
