Town Council President Randy Piazza Jr. spotted smoke billowing from 63 Heckman St. while driving to an appointment shortly before 12 p.m., he told LehighValleyLive.com. 3 Phillipsburg Firefighters Injured During Two-Alarm Blaze At Pipe Manufacturing Facility Three firefighters sustained minor injuries in the several hours it took to put out a fire at a pipe manufacturer in Phillipsburg Tuesday evening, authorities said. An estimated 60 firefighters from five of Phillipsburg's six fire companies responded to the two-alarm blaze at the Sitgreaves Street facility around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Phillipsburg Fire Chief Richard Hay said.
