Victim Shot 4 Times After Denying Robbers Even More Money In Ocean County: Prosecutor
Two men have been arrested after police say they robbed then shot someone they knew at an Ocean County home over the weekend.
Christopher Miller, 36, of Paterson, and Marc Manfredonia, 32, of Little Egg Harbor, were met at an East Hudson Drive home by a 36-year-old man around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
There, they physically forced the victim out of the home and demanded money from him, said Billhimer alongside Little Egg Harbor Township Chief of Police James Hawkins.

Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power after a round of powerful afternoon storms swept through the region.
The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of the region through 11 p.m., and that comes after a round of quarter-sized hail and gusty winds.

Tie Between Plane Crash, Wildfire In Ocean County Unclear
Sometime around a plane crashed in Ocean County, a wildfire broke out.
As of Sunday afternoon, Sept. 3, it remained unclear if the two were connected.
The FAA said a single-engine Cirrus SR22 crashed in a wooded area in Toms River, New Jersey, around 2:30 a.m. Only the pilot was on board.
According to 6abc, the plane had departed Pottstown, PA, and was heading to Toms River when it crashed in a wooded area of Lacey Township, near the Ocean County Airport.
Sometime thereafter, a wildfire broke out, closing a portion of Dover and Mule roads near Miller Airpark.
