: Missing 23-Year-Old From Sussex County Found Safe, Police Say
UPDATE: Hill has been located and is safe, police said. --------------- Police in Sussex County are searching for an endangered 23-year-old who was reported missing on Monday, Sept. 12. Shaquiel Hill, pictured above, stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and was last seen wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a black leather jacket near Linmor Avenue, Newton Police said. Anyone with information on Hill’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.

Man Charged In Stabbing Of 22-Year-Old At Sussex County Basketball Court: Police
A 19-year-old man was charged after allegedly stabbing another man at a basketball court in Sussex County, authorities said. Reiley Herrin, of Newton, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, Newton Police said in a release on Monday, May 23. Herrin is accused of stabbing a 22-year-old man in the abdomen near the basketball court behind the Lakeland School on Jefferson Street in Newton just before 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, police said. Police: NY Man Jailed For Wielding BB Gun, Fleeing During Dispute With Sussex County Landscaper
A 31-year-old man has been jailed after wielding a BB gun during an alleged dispute with a Sussex County landscaper. David A. G. Martin of Peekskill, NY is accused of brandishing PSM45 BB handgun during an argument over payment at a landscaping business off Limecrest Road around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Andover Township Police said. Martin then drove away, heading toward Newton-Sparta road in a red Ford F150, police said. : Driver In Newton Crash Was Distracted When He Struck Rock Wall, Light Pole, Police Say
A driver narrowly missed a building when he crashed his car into a light pole supporting a traffic signal Monday evening in Newton. Michael J. Czyzyk, 40, was headed northbound on Water Street when he became distracted and crossed into the southbound lanes, Newton Police Lt. Robert E. Osborn Jr. said. Czyzyk's Cadillac CTS hit a curb, a rock wall and shrubs before crashing into the pole outside of Hayek's market, Osborn said.
