A 53-year-old South Orange man wanted for attempted murder in a warehouse shooting Friday morning, March 29 was captured in Newark, police sad. Daniel Corprew is believed to have shot a 43-year-old man from Elizabeth at Maximum Quality Foods on Tremley Point Road multiple times around 6 a.m., Linden Police Capt. Christopher Guenther said. Charges have been upgraded for a 44-year-old Central Jersey man whose mother died a week after a gruesome attack, police said. Herbert Roberts, of Plainsboro, is believed to have attacked his 73-year-old mom, Beverly Roberts, of Princeton Junction, the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 18, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. A 28-year-old Linden resident was arrested and charged for a shooting that occurred on Thursday, May 4, authorities announced. At 4 p.m., police responded to the 10 block of N. Wood Ave. and found a 26-year-old Linden resident suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said. He was treated at the scene and transported to Newark University Hospital, police said. A 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in Linden on the afternoon of Thursday, May 4, authorities said. Officers responded to the 10 block of N. Wood Ave and located the victim, who suffered a single gunshot wound, Captain Christopher Guenther said. The victim was treated on scene and transported to Newark University Hospital, Guenther said. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det. : Two Children, Two Adults Dead In Linden Slayings
Two children and two adults were killed in what authorities are calling a murder-suicide Sunday, Feb. 19 in Linden. A large police presence was called to Chatham Place around 9:30 a.m., where the one child and two adults were pronounced dead, Linden police said. A juvenile victim was taken to Newark University Hospital in critical condition, police said. He was pronounced dead hours later. No further information was being released.

4-Year-Old Boy On Bicycle Critical After Being Struck By Car In Linden
A 4-year-old boy was critically injured after he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle with his dad in Linden on Thursday, Sept. 15, authorities said. The boy was with his 32-year-old dad when they were hit by a vehicle at Roselle Street across from E. St. George Avenue, toward Chestnut Street around 7:25 a.m., police said.
