Blood On The Tracks: Jury Returns Murder Conviction In Paterson Stabbing
PATERSON, N.J. – Following a day of deliberations, jurors in Paterson convicted a Hudson County man of stabbing a city man to death along a stretch of railroad tracks known to attract prostitutes. Samuel Rua III, 33, of Union City was convicted of first-degee murder, along with six illegal weapons counts, following a week-long trial in which prosecutors presented video and other evidence that pointed to him as the killer of Nadjhier Barner-Timmons.
