Missing Underage NJ Girl Rescued From Sex Trafficking Trio
An underage girl who'd been reported missing was rescued from a trio of South Jersey human traffickers who were prostituting her, authorities said. Marquise Ogawa, 28, Chyaire Lee, 26, and Jazmin Scott, 21, all of Lawnside, were being held in the Camden County Correctional Facility in Camden, charged with various child prostitution, trafficking and endangerment counts. Authorities Detail Mom's Alleged Abuse In Jashyah Moore Case
Authorities have detailed some of the abuse that 14-year-old Jashyah Moore suffered at the hands of her mother, Jamie Moore, before she went missing. The teen disappeared Oct. 14 after she was last seen at an East Orange deli, and was found safe at a New York City shelter last Thursday. The following day, her mother was arrested on charges of abuse and neglect. Police ID Missing Delaware River Boaters
New Jersey State Police have identified the two boaters who they said went missing on the Delaware River over the weekend. A search and rescue mission was launched Saturday for Joseph P. McLaughlin, 24, and Brian S. Palangi, 26, both of Deptford, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Adam Dewechter said. Their boat capsized near Crown Point Road in West Deptford around 2:10 p.m., sending them and a third victim overboard, authorities said previously. Missing NJ Teen Jashyah Moore Found Safe
Jashyah Moore, a 14-year-old New Jersey girl who had been missing since October, was found safe on Thursday, Nov. 11, authorities confirmed. The teen had last been seen Oct. 14 at a deli near her East Orange home. A $20,000 reward had been issued for anyone who could help find her. Jashyah was found in New York City and was "being provided all appropriate services, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, said. "She will be returned to NJ shortly." The sheriff in the Florida county where Brian Laundrie's remains were found has shared how he thinks the fugitive likely died, according to a new report from the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
