The months-long search for Lara Emanuele has come to a tragic end. The 46-year-old woman's body was found in a wooded area off Howard Boulevard and Route 80 in Roxbury Township, with help from K9 Denali from the Ramapo Search and Rescue Organization, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. UPDATE: A trio of New York City police officers helped capture a 23-year-old Mahwah man who authorities said fled after shooting his roommate dead Monday night. Milan Ghimire was nabbed in the Bronx by members of the NYPD Emergency Services Unit after killing 56-year-old Phu Tsewang, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Tuesday. 18-Year-Old Shot, Killed In East Orange
An 18-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night in East Orange, authorities said. Ahlayah Bowens was shot on Hoffman Boulevard at approximately 9:10 p.m., and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:24 p.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and East Orange Police Chief Phyllis Bindi said. The investigation is active and ongoing. No arrests had been made as of Monday evening. Authorities are seeking seven men who have been charged with homicides in Essex County. It is believed that some of the suspects may have left New Jersey, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. A Jersey City man was charged with murder in the Newark stabbing of his 60-year-old dad, authorities said Tuesday. A 19-year-old Lodi man was paralyzed when he was shot in the back just after midnight Thursday, authorities confirmed.
