Lyndhurst police boxed in a pair of Passaic teens and quickly took both into custody as they tried to pass through town in an SUV stolen out of Clifton, authorities said. A 1-year-old child was reported to be alert and responsive after eating a cannabis gummy at a hotel just off Route 3 where authorities said his teen mother and her adult boyfriend were staying. Secaucus police were called after the infant apparently lost consciousness at the Extended Stay America on Meadowlands Parkway around mid-morning on Thursday, Jan. 18, responders said. A 13-year-old from Fair Lawn is accused of giving her classmates marijuana gummy bears after one of her peers said it made her sick, authorities said. A 14-year-old female was taken to the The Valley Hospital last Friday after vomiting multiple times from one of the gummy bears given to her at school by a classmate, who told her it would "stop her from stressing out," Fair Lawn Police Sgt. Maywood Police Stolen Jeep Chase Up Route 17 Ends With Two Teens In Custody
Maywood police were chasing a stolen Jeep overnight when it abruptly stopped in the left lane of northbound Route 17. Two juveniles bailed and bolted across the highway. One was caught immediately and the other a short time later, they said.
