Worker's Error Leaves Paterson Families Without Water For Entire Weekend: Report
A worker's error left between 60 and 70 Paterson families without water for several days, NorthJersey.com reports. A Passaic Valley Water Commission worker turned off a valve to fix a leaky one, but did not turn it back on when they were done, Mayor Andre Sayegh told the outlet. Families near Hinchliffe Stadium did not have water from Friday until Monday morning, officials said. All Paterson families had water as of Monday morning, officials said. Two Men Found Stabbed Dead Outside Paterson School
Two men were found stabbed dead before dawn in the parking lot of a Paterson school, authorities confirmed Monday. Jaime Hernandez, 44, and Johnny Jimenez, 36, were pronounced dead at the scene despite firefighters’ attempts to revive them outside the K-5 School No. 5 on Totowa Avenue -- next to Hinchliffe Stadium -- shortly before 4:30 a.m. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. A drug dealer who took off after crashing a Porsche during a police chase in Paterson hid out at his girlfriend’s Elmwood Park apartment before Passaic County sheriff’s tracked him down, authorities said. The detectives tried pulling over 48-year-old James A. Artists To Visit Paterson's Historic Hinchliffe Stadium
PATERSON, N.J. -- Visitors will keep their eyes open but no doubt hear echoes during a “mobile workshop” at historic Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson sponsored this Friday by the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking.
