A 45-year-old Passaic County man is facing charges after police say he was caught taking upskirt photos underneath females' skirts and dresses in a Morris County store.
Christopher Smith, of Ringwood, was seen in a Hanover business using his cell phone to record underneath the victims' skirts and dresses, police said.
He then would place his cell phone in a handbasket facing up, and then, he would hold the handbasket low to the ground, walk up behind his victims, and record up their skirt or dress, police said.

A man accused of burglarizing a Morris County motel that was previously cited for excessive calls to police was later hospitalized for evaluation, authorities said.
Tyler Herrick, 25, was identified as the suspect in a burglary at a motel room at the Red Carpet Inn in Hanover on Wednesday, Feb. 2, police Chief Loock said in a Tuesday release.

Two men including one arrested for an armed robbery have been charged with using drugs to force a woman into prostitution for more than month in North Jersey, authorities said.
William Wilson, 47, of Belvidere, NJ and Jeremiah Forde, 39, of Budd Lake, forced the adult female into acts of prostitution out of a Hanover hotel, then collected the proceeds, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Lea Piazza, 28, failed a field sobriety test after crashing on Route 10 near Dryden Way just after 11 p.m., and was being processed by Hanover police when she began purposely coughing on officer Erick Magley last Thursday, Hanover police said.

Three hookers were bagged in an undercover prostitution sting in Hanover, police said.
Imani Bailey-Burrowswood, 44, of Voorhees, Melissa Esposito, 35 of East Orange, and Meghan Xenakis, 38, of Wayne, were charged in the local hotel sting during the first week of August, Chief Mark D. Roddy said.
Police did not specify which hotel the sting occurred at.

Four women and two men were arrested in an undercover prostitution sting by federal agents and state police at a Hanover hotel.
Thursday's operation targeted possible human and sex trafficking, and the exploitation of juveniles, Hanover police said in a news release.
