Schools in Jamesburg and Spotswood were put in a shelter-in-place as the FBI and local police searched for a suspect wanted in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, authorities said. Gregory Yetman fled into the woods at approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, after authorities tried to serve him with a federal arrest warrant on Main Street in Helmetta, Jamesburg police said. The FBI has interviewed a suspect who allegedly made a broad threat to synagogues in New Jersey, mitigating them as of Friday, Nov. 4, law enforcement sources told multiple news outlets.
