Grand Jury: Officers Justified Killing Pair In 2019 Jersey City Firefight Police were justified in shooting a couple who killed a fellow officer and three civilians in Jersey City, authorities on Wednesday said a state grand jury has found. Some would question the need for such a review given the circumstances of the fateful Dec. 10, 2019 firefight at a kosher grocery store.
