Repeat Offender Punches Disabled Man In Face For 75-Cent Bus Fare: Ridgefield Park PD
A repeat offender heartlessly punched a disabled man on a Ridgefield Park street and took the 75 cents he'd been carrying for bus fare, authorities said.
Joshua Bendewald, 30, approached the victim near the corner of Main Street and Grand Avenue and “asked him how much money he had” around 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, Ridgefield Park Police Lt. Justin Tress said.
The 64-year-old victim said he had only the 75-cent bus fare he held in his hand, which the robber took, the lieutenant said.

The ticket from the Friday, Dec. 16 drawing was purchased at the Cedar Lane store in Teaneck.
The winning numbers for the Friday, Dec. 16, drawing were: 08, 35, 40, 53 and 56. The Gold Mega Ball was 11, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.

A 65-year-old pedestrian was looking at his cellphone when he was struck by an SUV in Teaneck as he crossed Cedar Lane in the middle of the block at night, authorities said.

Teaneck PD: Drunken Burglar, Two Teens Busted After Foot Chase
TEANECK, N.J. – A drunken Teaneck burglar was scared off by a resident after trying to break into a house, then bought alcohol for three teens who were chased by police, authorities said Monday.
Pedro Sarkis-Farahlapor, 21, tried resisting arrest but was quickly subdued Sunday night, Police Chief Glenn O’Reilly said.
Police caught two of the other teens, the chief said, adding that they also identified the third.
