Distraction Burglars Fool Montvale Resident, 87, But Joke's On Them, Chief Says
An 87-year-old Montvale homeowner was kept distracted by a burglar whose partner slipped in and swiped a lock box from the victim's home.
The joke was on them, however: There weren't any valuables in it, authorities said.
