Body Found Floating In NJ River Police recovered a body from a New Jersey river early Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. Marine Service Troopers were dispatched to the Raritan River and South River in East Brunswick around 7:40 a.m., where they found a man's body floating in the water, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. No further information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.

Body Recovered From Passaic River: Newark Police A man's body was recovered from the Passaic River on the morning of Thursday, June 15, authorities said. At 8:06 a.m. police responded to the 700 block of Raymond Boulevard/Riverbank Park on a call of a body in the Passaic River, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  Officers found and recovered the body, and the male victim was pronounced dead soon after, Fragé said.  The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.

First responders arrived just after 10 a.m. following a report of an unidentified body in the water behind the Shops at Riverside, authorities said. The body was recovered at 12:20 p.m., Hackensack Lt. Darrin Dewitt told Daily Voice. Responders including the Hackensack police and fire departments, Oradell Fire Department, Bergenfield Fire Department and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office worked for more than two hours to recover the body.
