Stretch Of Bergen Boulevard Closed All Day Tuesday After Hit-Run DWI Crash FAIRVIEW, N.J. -- A stretch of Bergen Boulevard in Fairview and Ridgefield was expected to be closed all day Tuesday after a hit-and-run drunk driver downed a utility pole overnight, police said. Both directions were closed from Walker Street to Park Avenue after the white Ford Escape crashed near Jersey Avenue around 5 a.m. The southbound lanes were closed from Edgewater Avenue in Ridgefield to Park Avenue.
