Wrong-Way Driver High On Heroin Sends 3 To Hospital In Head-On Elmwood Park Crash
An adult and two youngsters were injured when an unlicensed, out-of-town drug addict high on heroin crashed his car into theirs while driving on the wrong side of the road in Elmwood Park, authorities said.
Kyle Apgar, 29, kept going before his car struck two parked vehicles around 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

A Jersey City man who fled the scene of a motor-vehicle accident and struck a pedestrian in Hoboken Tuesday afternoon was intoxicated at the time, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.
The first crash occurred at 1st and Bloomfield streets around 3 p.m. Oscar Moran, 66, fled in a black Honda Accord, struck the pedestrian near 1st and Hudson streets as well as several parked cars before crashing into a building at 99 Hudson St., where the car came to a stop.

Drugged Driver Flees After Route 80 Pileup In Teterboro, Caught In Elmwood Park
UPDATE: A pickup truck driver who caused a multi-vehicle crash on eastbound Route 80 in Teterboro over the weekend that seriously injured her juvenile passenger ran from the scene but was later captured in Elmwood Park, State Police said.
The Chevy pickup driven by Jaquina Sharron Davis, a 46-year-old repeat drug offender from Paterson, left the roadway and then re-entered it, crashing into a Subaru, at milepost 66 just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said.

2 Charged With Assault By Auto, Terroristic Threats After Jefferson Bar Fight
One man hit a Jefferson bar patron in the head with a beer bottle and another threatened to kill him and a companion before hitting their car at two separate intersections, authorities said.
Geidi Munoz-Gonzales, 26, of Stockholm, wielded a knife while threatening to kill the victim and his companion after Ryan McCabe, 24,of Franklin, hit him with the bottle at Daily Planet on Feb. 16, Sgt. Joseph Kratzel said.
The 25-year-old victim, who was cut on his forehead, left the bar with his friend, 28 but was followed by Munoz-Gonzales and McCabe, Kratzel said.
