“There is an investigation underway into the alleged mishandling or misappropriation of funds, perhaps thousands of dollars by the PTA here in Little Falls,” NBC reporter Pat Battle reported from Little Falls.
The president of the New Jersey Parent-Teacher Association told NBC that when it came time for a state audit, the president of the PTA for schools #2 and #3 in Little Falls “saw something she thought was amiss” and reached out to the state for guidance.
The state PTA will be on site Monday to “try to straighten things out,” the story says.
