Wayne Student Accepted To Juilliard Pre-College Piano Program

WAYNE, N.J. -- Sophia Kim, a fifth-grader at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Wayne, has been accepted to attend Juilliard's Pre-College program in New York City as a piano major starting this fall.

The Juilliard Pre-College Division is a program for elementary through high school students who exhibit the talent, potential and accomplishment to pursue a career in music.

This prestigious program offers a detailed curriculum of music, instruction and training in classical music and requires a substantial amount of time and commitment, according to a release from Wayne Township Public Schools.
