The Wayne Township Board of Education voted on it on Thursday, April 21. Changing it to a permanent program, funded by taxpayers, will be in a referendum this November, according to The Record. For now, the extra half-day will cost $250 a month.
Online registration, through the district website -- here -- will begin on Saturday, April 30, at 9 a.m., and close on Thursday, May 5, at 5 p.m. In the meantime, the brochure for the program is here.
The Board also made changes to the preliminary budget, according to The Record, and the public hearing on and vote to adopt the revised budget will be this Thursday, April 28.
