Students March On Clifton City Hall Over State Funding

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Students marched down Colfax Avenue toward Clifton City Hall on Wednesday in protest of the state's school funding formula, multiple news outlets reported.

Clifton lost $50 million in aid this year and Clifton dad Joe Canova started an online petition in February blaming New Jersey's unfair distribution of aid, pix11.com reports.

The district hasn't received its full share of funds since 2008, the station said.
