Abraham Zaydan of Haldeon was headed south on Route 208 just after 8:30 Saturday night when he was clocked on radar by Officer Kyle Ferreira, Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox said.

“The excessive speed made it impossible for the officer to immediately catch up to the motorcycle,” Fox said, “but he was able to gain some ground when Zaydan was slowed by traffic ahead.”

Zaydan (pictured above) cut in and out of cars before getting off at Goffle Road in Hawthorne, where he got caught in traffic, the chief said.

Ferreira finally stopped Zaydan on Goffle Road approaching Paterson and issued him a host of summonses, for which he has a Nov. 1 Municipal Court appearance scheduled.

They include: speeding, reckless driving, improper passing, uninsured vehicle, driving on a motorcycle permit in violation of the restrictions, false information on a vehicle registration, failure to maintain a lane of travel and tailgating.

The motorcycle was impounded.
