Christopher VanSplinter, 30, wasn’t injured, police said after officers responding to a call found the truck off LaRue Road around 10:10 p.m. June 8.
He had bags of heroin and a hypodermic needle in his lap, they said.
First responders eventually revived VanSplinter, who was taken to Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains.
Police charged him with DWI, careless driving, failure to drive within a single lane, being under the influence of drugs, and possession of both drugs and a hypodermic syringe in a motor vehicle.
VanSplinter, who Wayne police said was found with several bags of heroin and crack cocaine during an April 2015, was released pending a court hearing.
