Wayne PD: Willowbrook Mall Shoplifters Include Pair With $1,400 In Clothing

WAYNE, N.J. -- Wayne police continued to deal with defendants charged with shoplifting from various Willowbrook stores -- including two women who they said tried to walk out of Lord & Taylor with $1,400 worth of stolen clothing.

Both 20 years old, Tyshai S. Grant-Jones and Saphire L. Moore live in the same Paterson apartment building on different floors, Capt. Laurence Martin said Wednesday.

They were arrested on Saturday, he said.

A day later, police arrested Laith Abdallah, 21, of Clifton after security officers at Macy's said she swiped $185 worth of merchandise, Martin said.

On Tuesday, officers charged 31-year-old Tashiana Rivera of Newark with trying to boost $245 in woman's apparel, he said.

All of the defendants were released on court summonses, the captain said.
