Quanisha T Jackson, 23, of Irvington was accompanied by, among others, 19-year-old Zjanet Ramgeet of Newark, who was wanted on a warrant out of Jersey City, Capt. Laurence Martin said.
Security officers turned the quartet over to Officers Robert Fernandez and Skylar Cauceglia, who found one of them carrying pot and several stolen credit cards, Martin said.
Another, 22-year-old Moszena R. Ward, tried pretending to be someone else, but a birth certificate in the purse of 18-year-old Akirah A. Metcalf of Irvington and a Newark identification card gave her away, he said.
There were other gift cards, credit cards, a California identification card and other cards in other people's names in Metcalf's purse, the captain said.
Ward also was carrying a partially smoked joint in her left jacket pocket, he said.
Jackson and Ward were being held in the Passaic County Jail.
Metcalf was released pending a court hearing.
Ramgeet was turned over to Jersey City police.
Charges include hindering, shoplifting and drug possession, among other offenses.
