"That guy almost killed me," a concerned motorist told police after the white 2008 Toyota Sienna came at him near the Kohl’s shopping center around 4:40 a.m. Sunday, Capt. Lawrence Martin said.
Officers Mark Ciavirella and Thomas Antonucci stopped the vehicle near the Royal Car Wash, said Martin, adding that, miraculously, no cars were struck.
Naseem Zeidan, 18, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested, the captain said. The minivan was impounded, he said.
Zeidan later registered a .12% blood-alcohol level on an Alco-Test, Martin said.
He was charged with DWI, driving against traffic, careless driving and failing to produce either registration or insurance, the captain said.
Zeidan was released to a responsible adult pending a court hearing, Martin said.
