The newest addition to the department, Officer Michael Ferrarini, was appointed this past May as Class II Special Officer.
He was sworn as a police officer along with those promoted Tuesday.
Ferrarini previously was a deputy with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office and a police dispatcher with the Clifton Police Department.
