Totowa House Fire Displaces 2

TOTOWA, N.J. — A Totowa house fire left two people displaced but none injured Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The fire left the house on Sutton Avenue "totally destroyed," Chief Vincent Marciano said, as well as a car in the garage.

The blaze started in the area of the garage but Marciano said the cause was unknown.

The fire started around 3:40 p.m. Monday and it took around a half-hour to put out, the chief said.

Woodland Park and Little Falls fire departments also responded.

Marciano said nearby hydrants were already dug out of the snow, which helped.

"We had good water, we had good everything," he told Daily Voice.
