Ilya Krakinovskiy, of North Avenue, Apt. 4F, in Fort Lee, was arrested by Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli’s Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit today, with help from Leonia police, on child endangerment charges.
Details are being kept to a minimum, but Molinelli did day aht Krakinovskiy “enaged in inappropriate conduct with a female student from Leonia High School” while he was working there as a student teacher, beginning this January.
A Ramsey High School band instructor — who also teaches full time at Paterson Eastside High — remains free on bail as detectives investigate a case involving risque emails they say that he had with female students, as well as accusations that he touched one of them. Krakinosvkiy, a graduate student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Teaneck campus, has been relieved of his duties at the high school, the prosecutor said.
He was arrested on the Teaneck campus, where he has worked in the book store, and then released without bail pending a May 25 appearance in Leonia Municipal Court.
