“We reached out to them earlier today and plan to look at this very closely,” Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.

That includes possibly reinterviewing witnesses, given the one significant difference in the holdups:

The clerk at the Saddle Brook 7-Eleven on Market Street said the robber who made off with $250 at 2:50 a.m. yesterday was dark-skinned, while the Little Falls clerk described the bandit who robbed the Route 23 7-Eleven of an undisclosed amount of cash at 2:20 a.m. today as white.

Both clerks said the robber appeared to be in his early to mid-20s, wearing a blood hooded sweatshirt, dark sweat pants and a ski mask.

The knife was about the same size — 12 inches or so.
